Description
The GAPCI Series is 32bits PCI to 1000Base-X POF (Plastic Optical Fiber) converter. It fully compatible for IEEE 802.3 Fast Ethernet data communication standard in POF application. This product is easy plug-and-play and requires no additional settings. This solution is designed for use in a variety of applications including workstation NICs, PC motherboards, and other systems utilizing a PCI bus that require network connectivity to Ethernet.
The GAPCI Series supports several power down states. To achieve the most efficient power management possible, ACPI power management support is provide for modem operating systems that are capable of OSPM (Operating System directed Power Management. PCI Message Signaled Interrupt (MSI) is also supported.
