Description
The FEPCI Series is 32bits PCI to 100Base-FX POF (Plastic Optical Fiber) converter. It fully compatible for IEEE 802.3u Fast Ethernet data communication standard in POF interfaces. This product is really plug-and-play and requires no additional settings. This solution is designed for use in a variety of applications including workstation NICs, PC motherboards, and other systems utilizing a PCI bus that require network connectivity to Ethernet. The FEPCI Series supports several power down states, and the ability to issue a system “wake event” via reception of unique, user defined Ethernet frames. In addition, the FEPCI Series can assert a wake event in response to changes in Ethernet.
