5 POF Switch hub PSW-5O15

Description
The PSW-5O15 is 10/100Base-FX All POF switch hub, And can includes Ethernet 5 port OptoLock® or SMI POF transceivers. It fully supports flow control full duplex and high-speed data transmission in POF interface. It can transmit packet(s) up to 1536/1552 bytes to meet requirement of extra long packets. 5 LED indicators are used to display each port active status. This product is really plug-and-play and requires no need other additional settings. The PSW-5 Series can fully compatible for IEEE 802.3/802.3u Fast Ethernet data communication standard. This solution can be use in any Fast Ethernet LAN, FTTH or xDSL application.

System Requirements
  1. Please make sure have Ethernet controller in your devices or systems.
  2. Please confirm that Ethernet controllers are able to work normally in systems.
  3. If you have already installed Ethernet controller and work normally, there is no special hardware requirement such as CPU speed, memory size and chipsets.
  4. If you have already installed Ethernet in your OS, there is no special software requirement.
  5. The technical advice for the AC to DC power adapter
    The PSW series have been designed to use external 5V~35V power adapter to supply.
User’s Guide
  1. Please keep the following procedure to install. If the sequences are not correctly followed, the improper or no operation will be occurred.
  2. Make sure your Ethernet controller work normally between two systems.
  3. Plug the CAT5 patch cord into the systems and PSW. Don’t use any intermediate cable or adapter between PSW and systems.
  4. Plug the POF END patch cord into two PSW. Don’t use any intermediate cable or adapter between two PSW.
  5. Plug the power adapter into your PSW.
  6. The yellow and green indicator of PSW shine or flash. This condition mean the Ethernet connection between two systems is started.
  7. If PSW don’t work normally (yellow or green indicator dark), you must confirm (2)~(5)again. Afterward restart your PSW again.
    *when fiber optic line insert the switch fiber port that the Light Emiting Doide's yellow light and green light will be poerate.
Troubleshooting
  1. The PSW are not energized. (Yellow or Green indicator dark)
    1.1 Make sure if OptoLock® and CAT5 patch cord are certainly plugged in receptacle.
    1.2 Confirm if power adapter work normally.
    1.3 Confirm if the operations of Step User’s Guide(2)~(6)are correct.
