Product Design Know-How USB Type-C Connector

USB Type-C is a hardware interface specification for Universal Serial Bus (USB). The highlights of the new interface are a slimmer design, faster transfer speeds and more powerful power transmission. The biggest feature of the Type-C is to support double-sided pluggable interface and insertion. Meanwhile, the USB data cable used with it must also be thinner and lighter.

USB Type-C features:
1.The maximum data transmission speed reaches 10 Gbit/s, which is also the standard of USB 3.1.
2.Type-C interface socket end size is about 8.3mm × 2.5mm slim design.
3. Supports “double-sided insertion” function, and can withstand 10,000 times of insertion and removal.
4. Standard Type-C cable specification can pass 3A current and maximum power of 100W.
